Postmodern dance

Postmodern dance is a style of some of created in the 20th century choreography. It was created in response to the origination and performances of modern dance. In contrast to this post- modern dance to prove that everyday movements are well worth sideshow.

From the assertion Given that " every movement is part of a dance and every person is a dancer " are (with or without dance experience), the early postmodern dance was rather with the ideology of modernism used as the post-modern ideas such as those in the literature or architecture to be found. However, quickly developed a movement which in the wide variety of works of the Judson Dance Theater, the home of post-modern dance, can be found today.

The highlight of the post-modern dance, between the 1960s and the 1970s, was indeed short, but the legacy is still to be found in the field of contemporary dance today, as well as in the still emerging works in a variety of styles.

Typical elements are the parody, irony, the dance just for the joy of movement and a special awareness of the reality.
