Poulx
Poulx is a commune with 4045 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Gard of the Languedoc -Roussillon region.
Geography
The village is located northeast of the garrigue and six kilometers from Nîmes. In the village, the Department streets intersect to Nimes and Uzes.

Demographics
1962 the community had only 160 inhabitants. The number has increased at the beginning of the 21st century to more than 4000. However, the settlement area is surrounded by nature reserves, so that the population could rise to more than 4,500 inhabitants.
Age structure
34 percent of the population are 19 years old or younger. Three percent of the population 75 years of age or older.
