Povilas Vanagas

Povilas Vanagas ( born July 23, 1970 in Siauliai, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union ) is a retired Lithuanian figure skater, who started ice dancing.

With its Eistanzpartnerin Margarita Drobiazko he was from 1992 to 2006 Lithuanian champion. During the same period Drobiazko and Vanagas participated in twelve European and World Championships and five Olympic Games. They are the first and only figure skaters, who contested five Olympic Games. In 2000, she won the bronze in both the World Championship and the European Championship. They were the first medals for Lithuania at the World and European Championships. At their last European Championship in 2006, they won yet another bronze medal. Your best result at the Olympics was the fifth place they reached Salt Lake City in 2002.

Drobiazko and Vanagas have been married since June 2000.
