Powerset (company)

Powerset was operated from a start- up company Powerset based in San Francisco. It was strongly supported by Xerox PARC. After a one-year test phase Powerset had officially launched its search service on 12 May 2008.

Early July 2008, Powerset was acquired for an undisclosed price from Microsoft. The Powerset site now heads to the Microsoft search engine Bing on.
