Poznań University of Technology
The Technical University of Poznan (Polish: Politechnika Poznańska ) is a Technical University in Poznan, Poland, with 21,000 students and 2,000 academic staff ( 2005).
Current President of the University is Tomasz Lodygowski ( 2013).
Faculties
The Technical University of Poznan was founded as Wyższa SzkoĹ Budowy Maszyn ( Engineering College ) in 1919 and was renamed after an expansion to more schools in the mid-1920s Wyższa SzkoĹ Budowy Maszyn i Elektrotechniki (mechanical engineering and electrical engineering high school). Today it comprises nine faculties.
