Pozo Almonte

Pozo Almonte is a commune in northern Chile. It includes the settlements Pozo Almonte, La Huayca, La Tirana, La Colonia Pintados, Mamiña, Parca, Huatacondo and Macaya, and numerous ghost towns and industrial ruins that the Salpeterbergbau has left as La Noria and Humberstone and Santa Laura Saltpeter.
