PPK (group)

PPK (Russian ППК ) was a Russian trance project from Rostov-on- Don, consisting of Sergei Pimenov and Alexander Polyakov. The name PPK is an acronym from the names of the founding members. K stands for the short-term Member novel Korschow, also known as DJ Kordj.

Career

The musical duo made ​​his debut on 21 February 1998 a live performance at a local festival, followed by another live performance at the Kazantip Festival 1998 in Ukraine. In December of the same year their debut album Feel Insomnia appeared. In 2000, the duo released the song I Have a Dream, which contains samples from Martin Luther King 's historic speech.

Gained international recognition, the duo with the single resurection, as a free download on MP3.com was about a year available. The song was extremely popular and eventually brought the duo a recording contract with Paul Oakenfolds music label Perfecto one.
