Prabhutaratna

Prabhutaratna ( Sanskrit: Prabhutaratna; Chinese Duobao Rulai ,多 宝 如 来/多 宝 如 来, Duōbǎo Rulai; jap Taho Nyorai ,多 宝 如 来) is a Buddha of the Eastern world, the land called "jewels - clean " (Sanskrit Ratnaviśuddhā, Chinese Baojing宝 净/宝 净), a Buddha of the past. About him is in the Lotus Sutra and the Mahāprajñāpāramitāśāstra (Ch Dazhi dulun大智 度 论) reported.

In the 11th chapter of the Lotus Sutra from the appearance of the gems Stupa is said to appear with his jeweled Stupa (宝塔/宝塔, bǎotǎ ) at the locations of the ten directions where he could hear the Lotus Sutra.

In iconography, he is shown ( a) as a triad with Śākyamuni and Maitreya; ( b ) in a double portrait with Śākyamuni (China ); ( c ) in a stupa, where he listens to Sakyamuni preaching.
