Prachantakham District

Amphoe Prachantakham ( Thai: อำเภอ ประจันตคาม ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Prachinburi. The Prachinburi province is located in the eastern region of central Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe Prachantakham is by following Amphoe limited (as seen from the east clockwise from ): Amphoe Na Di, the, Kabin Buri, Si Maha Phot and Mueang Prachinburi Prachinburi Province, Amphoe Pak Phli in the province of Nakhon Nayok and Amphoe Pak Chong and Wang Nam khiao in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima.

Management

Amphoe Prachantakham is ( tambon) divided into nine municipalities that continue in 106 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There are also two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Prachantakham ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ประจันตคาม ) covers parts of tambon Prachantakham,
  • Pho Ngam ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โพธิ์ งาม ) consists of the whole Tambon Pho Ngam.

In addition, there are eight " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
