Prakash Karat
Prakash Karat ( born February 7, 1948 in Letpadan, Burma) is an Indian politician.
Life
Karat visited the Madras Christian College School in Chennai. At the University of Edinburgh, he studied politics. After finishing his studies carat got a job as a university professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Since 2005 he has been Chairman of the Communist Party of India ( Marxist). In addition to his political activities, he has worked as a writer and has published several books. The atheist carat is married and lives in New Delhi.
