Prakash Padukone

Prakash Ramesh Padukone ( born June 10, 1955 in Bangalore ) is a former Indian badminton player.

Career

Padukone is a graduate of Bangalore University. He won his first title at the National Junior Championship in 1970 and was India's Senior Champion for nine years unbeaten from 1971 to 1979. , He founded in 1994 to promote Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy talents in badminton. He now lives in Bangalore, India.

Padukone is married and has two daughters. One is the actress Deepika Padukone.
