Pratola Peligna

Pratola Peligna is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 7817 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of L' Aquila in the Abruzzo region. The community is located about 49 kilometers southeast of L' Aquila and about 36 kilometers southwest of Chieti. Pratola Peligna is immediately adjacent to the province of Pesaro- Urbino. It is part of the Comunità montana peligna and the Parco Nazionale della Majella. Due to the congregation of the Sagittario flows.

History
