Precision Manuals Development Group

Precision Manuals Development Group ( PMDG short ) is an American software developer who produces aircraft add- ons for PC flight simulators.

History

Headquartered in Reno ( Nevada) company was founded in 1997 and began as a publisher of operating manuals for commercial aircraft. Shortly thereafter, the division on the development of transport aircraft for the flight simulator Fly! shifted. Since 2002 add-ons are also based flight simulators on the Microsoft Flight Simulator (or Microsoft ESP) developed to date exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX ) and for Lockheed Martin Prepar3D ( P3D ). The company has won numerous awards for detailed implementation of various types of aircraft.

For a more detailed and realistic as possible implementation of systems, models and flight behavior, PMDG Boeing and cooperates with licensed FSX their products exclusively as an entertainment software for private individuals. Use as a training software is not permitted in FSX. Currently ( February 2014 ) is still not a PMDG product for Prepar3D licensed as P3D is not licensed as an entertainment software, but only as a training, learning and simulation products and sold. However, it has already announced plans to distribute current and future add-ons through licensing as a training software for Prepar3D.
