Predetermined motion time system
SVZ (systems of predetermined times, English: Predetermined motion time system) are systems that help only by the analysis of a movement, is derived directly as the target time is the time that is required for this. The individual movements are assessed on the basis of tables with elaborately determined standard times. Hence the target time for the workflow is derived.

These high-speed cameras are used and removed the respective working at a statistically relevant number of people.
Today in Germany essentially two methods in use:
- MTM (Methods - Time Measurement ) and the
- WORK -FACTOR system.

History
Frederick Winslow Taylor disassembled for his extensive time studies, the work already in elementary movements, in order to accurately describe and classify. He was almost always to make the work more effective deficient processes and working conditions and opportunities.
Tight employee Taylor, Frank Gilbreth bunker with his wife Lilian, are considered the founders of the movement studies. They analyzed movements by means of motion pictures and developed a system in which 17 different movement elements were sufficient in order to describe all work processes. The "motion -time analysis" (MTA) is attributed to Segur. It was announced in 1924 and came during the twenties and thirties of the twentieth century in almost all sectors of American industry. It is considered the oldest still commercially practiced elementary time method.
On this basis, developed the Joseph Quick WORK -FACTOR system, which in 1938 was extensively tested and introduced in 1946 in the industry.
1958 took over REFA the procedure in Germany under license. The activities in 1964 in an independent registered association, which represents the system since 1973 in German-speaking Europe alone. 2003, the cooperation with REFA revived. Since 2007, the International Industrial Consult IIC AG is cooperation and Marketing.
Methods - Time Measurement ( MTM) is a less complex and therefore probably more widespread method. By 1940, Herold Bright Maynard worked with John Schwab and Gustave webs Merten the fundamentals of MTM. Maynard founded in 1951, finally in New York "U. S. MTM Association for Standards and Research ", which the three rights transferred.
In Germany MTM 1962 is institutionalized by the creation of the " German MTM Association eV".
