Predmier
Predmier (Hungarian Peredmér - to 1907 Predmér ) is a municipality in the north- west of Slovakia with 1369 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011), the Region belongs to Okres Bytča, a part of the Žilinský.
Geography
The municipality is located in the valley Bytčianska kotlina the creek Hradnianka, on a river terrace of the Waag. Surrounded, the location of the mountains Javorníky and Súľovské Hills. The center is located at an altitude of 301 m nm and is five kilometers from Bytča.
History
The town was first mentioned in writing in 1193.
