Premier Inn

Premier Inn is a British hotel chain based in Luton and a subsidiary of Whitbread PLC. With more than 600 hotels, 30,000 rooms and approximately 10,000 employees, it is one of the largest hotel chains in the country.

History

The hotel chain opened in 1987 under the name of Travel Inn. Following the acquisition of Premier Lodge in 2004, the hotels were first renamed Premier Inn Premier Travel Inn, and soon.

Premier Inn hotels are often located in inner cities, but also occasionally in the countryside, in a commercial environment or in airports and appeal to both leisure and business travelers. The rooms have a fairly uniform standard with double bed and private bathroom and are oriented approximately at two-to three -star range. The pricing structure differentiates between weekdays and weekends, the prices are significantly lower on weekends except in tourist areas more or less.
