Premium Aerotec
Premium Aerotec GmbH, own spelling Premium AEROTEC GmbH is a German manufacturer of structures and manufacturing systems for aircraft. The company was formed on 1 January 2009 by the merger of the EADS site in Augsburg with the works of Airbus Germany in Nordenham and Varel. The sole owner is the Airbus Group N.V.
The company employed at the time of its inception, nearly 6,000 people. In the first year it had annual sales of 1.1 billion euros. The management of the operating units has its headquarters in Varel, the headquarters of the company is located in Augsburg.
Locations
Augsburg
The Augsburg with its approximately 2,500 employees, is one of the world's largest suppliers of large components to Airbus. It focuses on the production and assembly of fuselage parts and highly loaded structural components for military and civilian programs, taking advantage of hybrid lightweight construction, carbon technologies, infiltration method and sandwich constructions.
In Augsburg arise, among others, the center fuselage of the Euro Fighter Typhoon, the pressure domes for the Airbus series, and partly for the Boeing 787, as well as the cargo for the new Airbus A400M military transport.
Nordenham and Bremen
The Nordenham plant with its approximately 2,700 employees is the center of large sheet metal and shell construction, primarily for Airbus aircraft. Varel

In Ghimbav, a town in the district of Brasov in Romania, Premium Aerotec invested around 45 million euros in a new location.
