Presto (Film)

Presto is an American Animations-/Kurzfilm from 2008, of the cinema as a supporting film before WALL-E - Legend of the Dee earth was shown on.

On 27 June 2008 Presto was launched along with its main feature in the American cinema. The theatrical release was in Germany and Austria on 25 September 2008, in Switzerland on 2 October 2008.

Action

A little bunny named Alec Azam ( a pun on the magic word Alakasam ) sitting hungry in his cage in a stage dressing room and tried to grab a carrot lying near him. As the magician Presto DiGiotagione ( a pun on " prestidigitation " - German for " dexterity " or " sleight ") appears.

After looking at his clock he takes his two magic hats (which are connected to each other, what is plugged into the one into the other comes from the back out ) as well as the hares and hurries to the stage to begin his presentation. The hare is thereby left edge of the stage. The Hungry Rabbit urgently requests the carrot, but denied him the Wizard. Then the hare sabotaged the demonstration of the sorcerer without exposing him completely. The audience holds the tricks for real and applauded. As the rabbit the magician by means of Zauberhutes saves the life at the end, the crowd goes wild with enthusiasm. In the background you can see Waldorf and Statler from the Muppet show on one of the balconies. The sorcerer realizes his mistake, gives the rabbit his carrot and leaves him in the future act as an equal partner with.
