Price County, Wisconsin

Price County is a county located in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. In the census in 2010, the County had 14,159 inhabitants and a population density of 4.4 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Phillips.

History

Price County was formed in 1879 from parts of Chippewa County and Lincoln County. It was named after William T. Price (1824-1886), a former President of the Senate of Wisconsin.
