Prigorje
Prigorje (also Croatian Prigorje ) is a region in central Croatia, which takes place around the capital Zagreb.
Geography
Geographically, Zagreb itself belongs also to Prigorje what many residents of different neighborhoods ( Šestine, Gračani, Remete Markuševec, Sesvete i Sesvetska sela, Dubrava, etc.) to move to describe themselves as " Prigorci ". The Prigorje extends from the Medvednica ( Zagreb's mountain ) to the Sava River and east to the Moslavina. In the southwest it is bounded by the Žumberačka gora. As most western " frontier village " Harmica is considered. In Sveti Ivan Zelina the northeast is the limit.
