Primacom

The primacom Berlin GmbH is a private cable operator in Germany with around one million connected households and approximately 800,000 customers. It is the successor company of the insolvent since 2010 listed primacom AG.

History

Primacom was created in 1998 from the merger of cable media and Süweda. After the merger, the Group was floated on the Stock Exchange on 22 February 1999 at the New Market and NASDAQ. Since 5 June 2003, the share of primacom AG is listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

In August of 2000, the company acquired primacom multi cable in the Netherlands, which was sold five years later to UPC.
