Primitive streak

The primitive streak is in developmental biology a Zellwulst that forms as a result of cell proliferation in early embryogenesis in reptiles, birds and mammals.

As part of this cell proliferation just mentioned, there is a cell migration into the rear portion of the seed layer, at the end of the cells pile up to the primitive streak. He is responsible for the development of control of the embryo and disappear after some time.
