Prince engine#BMW N13

The BMW N13 is a gasoline engine series of automobile manufacturer BMW four-cylinder in-line configuration and turbocharger. The engine generation was introduced in 2011. Premiere celebrated in the BMW 116i/118i as a replacement for the previously installed gasoline direct injection N43 and will gradually also be used in other series. The N13 is a further step in the EfficientDynamics program from BMW. By also been featured N20 shares the engine, large parts of its technology, such as the BMW TwinPower Turbo called turbocharging, its High Precision Injection and Valvetronic Double -VANOS.

In May 2012, the N13 was introduced into a new stage of development with 75 kW for an entry model for the BMW 114i and the 100 kW variant in the BMW 316i. Both models are available since September 2012.
