Prince Ital Joe

Prince Ital Joe ( born May 5, 1963 as Joe Paquette on Dominica; † 16 May 2001, Phoenix, Arizona) was an American reggae musician dominicanischer origin.

At the age of 14, he emigrated with his parents from his home and moved to Brooklyn, New York with them. After his high school graduation he aspired to a career as an actor and entertainer. In California, he trat years on at private parties and at clubs in Hollywood. He was also a 1988-1990 concert promoter, including Ziggy Marley for.

In 1993 he took on the produced by Alex Christensen album Life in the Streets, together with Marky Mark (Mark Wahlberg ). In Germany, the album achieved and the resulting coupled- Singles the greatest commercial success. Happy People, United, Life in the Streets, and Babylon were able to place in the top 20; United was number one in the German single charts for five weeks. In 1995 he signed a contract with Death Row Records, where he indeed with Tha Dogg Pound, 2Pac and Daz Dillinger collaborated, but never released an album.

He was also sporadically active as an actor. He had a small role in Steven Seagal's film released to Kill ( Marked for Death ) and appeared in the television series EZ Street and player.

Prince Ital Joe died on 16 May 2001 the injuries he had sustained in a car accident near Phoenix. He left behind his wife and a daughter.
