Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark

Alexia de Grecia, Danish title: "Princess of Greece and Denmark" (* July 10, 1965 in Mon Repos, Corfu ) is the first child of King Constantine II of Greece and his wife Anne -Marie of Denmark, the youngest daughter of King Frederick IX. of Denmark and his wife Ingrid of Sweden. Alexia spent her early childhood in Greece and in 1967 in exile in Rome. In Rome, she was taught by private tutors in Greek language. In 1973, the Greek monarchy was overthrown by the military regime of Papadopoulos. With the proclamation of the Republic of the king and his heirs received the right to rule over Greece lost. The family moved to England in 1974.

From 1980, Alexia was informed on Hellenic College in London. There she completed her secondary schooling. 1984/85 they did volunteer work at a children's ward of a hospital in London. In 1985, she began a study in History and Education at Froebel College (Department of Surrey University), graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts. Princess Alexia married on 9 July 1999 Carlos Morales Quintana ( born December 31, 1970), an architect and very good sailors. The couple has four children:
