Princess Maria Luisa Carlota of Parma

Maria Luisa Carlotta, Princess of Bourbon -Parma ( born October 2, 1802 in Barcelona, † March 18, 1857 in Rome) was the daughter of Infanta Maria Louisa Josepha Antonietta Vicentia of Spain, who reigned from 1801 to 1803 as the Queen of Etruria, and sister of Charles II, Louis of Parma later Duke of Lucca.

Nearly two weeks after her 23rd birthday, she married in 1825 the 66 -year-old Prince Maximilian of Saxony ( 1759-1838 ), who married as his second wife. After his death she married Count Ferdinand von Rossi ( 1796-1854 ). Again widowed was her last husband, Count Giovanni Vimercati († 1861), with whom she spent her early retirement in Rome. Her estate is located in the Saxon State Archives in Dresden ( Archivnr. 12551 ).
