Priolo Gargallo
Priolo Gargallo is a city of Syracuse in Sicily region of Italy with 12,218 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012).

Priolo Gargallo is located 12 km north- west of Syracuse. The inhabitants mainly work in the chemical industry ( petroleum processing ) and agriculture.
The neighboring municipalities are Melilli, Syracuse, Solarino and Sortino.
History
Since the Bronze Age people settle in the area.
Attractions
- Thapsus, a prehistoric settlement outside of Priolo Gargallo on the Magnisi Peninsula.
- Church of San Foca, built in the 5th century ( from the village)
