Prithvi of Nepal

Prithvi Bir ​​Bikram Shah Dev ( * August 18, 1875, † December 11, 1911 ) was from 1881 until his death King of Nepal. He was the grandson of his predecessor, Surendra and also grandson of the Prime Minister Jang Bahadur ( 1816-1877 ).

One of the biggest events during his reign include the introduction of automobiles in Nepal and the justification of water and sanitation systems in the country. Under his rule, Nepal was first recognized as a sovereign state.
