Pritzier

Pritzier is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Hagenow country with headquarters in the city Hagenow.

To Pritzier include the districts Station - Pritzier and Schwechow.

Geography

The municipality is located north-west of semolina area in southwest Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. Adjacent to Pritzier is the landscape protection area Nature Park Mecklenburgisches Elbetal.

History

In 1302 Count Nikolaus von Schwerin gives his city Crivitz ownership of the village Pritzier to increase their field marks.

In the later 17th century Pritzier was sold out of the bankruptcy of the chief administrative officer Henning von Lutzow at the Captain Hans von Scharfenberg. His widow, Maria Margarete née Göhren leased the property to Balthasar von Zülow, married soon after with the Major by Peter forest. In 1756 it was bought by the Captain of Hovel. In 1764 it acquired the Braunschweig-Lüneburg reeve and pen Captain Otto Johann Christoph Koenemann. He was knighted in Vienna along with his four brothers in 1773 and elevated to the status of the baron. The 1820 built until 1825 according to plans by Joseph Christian Lillie House is a neo-classical plaster building. He has over the Tiefpaterre two floors, the courtyard façade was built around 1880. Personalities

  • Johann Christoph Schmügel (1727-1798) was born in Pritzier as the son of the then organist of the same name. He became a pupil of Georg Philipp Telemann in Hamburg and later was organist in Lüneburg and Mölln. He is now considered one of the most important composers in a transitional style between baroque and classicism.
