Private collection
A Private Collection is an established not from public funds, but with private funds collection of cultural goods. Frequently, the term refers to works of art and it is the counterpart to the collection of a state art museum. - In Austria, the Essl Collection in Vienna comprises approximately 6,000 works of contemporary art.
