Privateering (English for " privateering " ) is the seventh studio album by the British musician Mark Knopfler. It was published on 3 September 2012.
Background
The album was recorded at Mark Knopfler's British Grove Studios in London. Single is the piece Corned Beef City. Striking in comparison to other Mark Knopfler - albums is the bluesy mood of the album. So the piece Bluebird is for example written in blues form, other pieces have a modified Blue scheme. It is Mark Knopfler first Doppelabum.
