Privileged (TV series)

Privileged ( German: " Privileged " ) is an American dramedy television series that was produced from 2008 to 2009 for the U.S. channel The CW.

Action

The young Studienabgängerin Megan Smith has the credit for their Yale education pay off and lands just with a tabloid, even though they would like to write serious books. But then she was fired by her boss, but still gets her a new career opportunity with an old friend, the Baker family. There Megan gets the job as a private teacher for the teenage Rose and Sage, and should make for college this Fit. In return, they get a solid, high salary and if successful a check that covers the majority of their college loan.

But the would-be Hilton's not think about it, to focus on learning and would rather be famous socialites. Therefore, the two that are as thick as thieves, Megan make life a living hell. Megan gets support from the house chef Marco Giordello who knows the family and the problems. In addition, it is flirting Marcos friend Will Davis. But Megan the family holding something: She is from the area and her estranged sister Lily and her childhood friend Charlie Hogan live there too. In the course of the series, Megan and sisters Rose and Sage come closer.

Production

The channel The CW took the series on 24 June 2008 officially into the program for fall 2008. The series is based on the book How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls by Zoey Dean and should first go under that name in series. However, the title at the Upfronts in Surviving the Filthy Rich was changed and then later in Privileges. The series was produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television.

On 19 May 2009 it was announced that the series would not get a second season.

For Germany, ProSiebenSat.1 Media Group has secured the rights to the series and decided they radiate sixx on the transmitter, where she was seen on 12 March 2012 to 23 July 2012.
