Professional degrees of public health
Master of Public Health or Master of Public Health Sciences (in short: MPH or MSc Public Health) is an interdisciplinary graduate course in the field of health sciences. While many studies in Germany on epidemiology focus (degree: Master of Science Epidemiology, MSc) are, for example, some U.S. MPH programs broader.

Public Health Master's degree programs usually require a degree (usually at least Bachelor) in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, psychology, nursing or other relevant subject.

Alternatives to full-time study
In addition to the classic full-time programs, some so-called Public Health Schools offer Executive Education. Here is - analogous to the EMBA programs - an older (and more affluent ) Target group advertised in shorter blocks - want more intense and faster study - and partly in distance learning. Another variant is the distance learning program, now mostly on the Internet, sometimes in combination with classroom blocks.
