Professor Green
Professor Green is the stage name of the rapper Stephen Paul Manderson ( born November 27, 1983 in London, United Kingdom ). His music style consists mainly of rap and grime.
Biography
Manderson began rapping as MC at the age of 18 years. He won over 100 rap battles and landed some prices in the scene. His first mixtape ( Lecture # 1), he published in 2006. Having 2009 received a record deal with Virgin Records, 2010, the album Alive Till I'm Dead was released. From this album comes the first single I Need You Tonight, which even made it into the top 20 of the European charts and in the UK at # 3. I Need You Tonight is based on a sample of the song Need You Tonight by INXS.
In 2009, Manderson supported the singer Lily Allen during their tour.
In the same year in May Manderson was stabbed with a broken beer bottle in the neck. You just missed his jugular vein. Since the attack, the rapper has a thick scar on the neck over which he, the word " Lucky": leave has tattoo ( dt Happy ).
The first single from his 2011 album At Your Inconvenience became a No. 1 hit in the UK, Germany was Read All About It ( feat. Emeli Sandé ) the first track, which could be placed in the Media Control Charts.
