Progressive Party (Brazil)

The Progressive Party ( Portuguese: Partido Progress Ista, PP) is a political party in Brazil.

It represents quite conservative positions.

Acting National Chairman (Presidente Nacional) is Pedro Corrêa, General Secretary ( Secretário Geral ) Benedito Domingos.

The party emerged in 1995 with the name Partido Progress Ista Brasileiro by the merger of the PPR and the former PP. On 4 April 2003, the renamed Partido Progress Ista done. The PP is currently 51 members of the Brazilian Federal Parliament ( Congresso Nacional), which consists of the Chamber of Deputies ( Câmara dos Deputados ) and Senate ( Senado Federal) exists. All members were directly elected.
