Progressive

Generally describes progressive as much as an "ever- increasing " or " exponentially increasing " ( and it is the opposite of regressive ). A progressive course is particularly characterized by its non-linearity, i.e., the increase in the following interval of the same size is larger. The term can have different meanings in specific areas:

  • Cars / RC Model ( chassis / suspension ) a spring that becomes harder with increasing pressure.
  • In politics as the opposition of conservatism; see progressivism
