Projection keyboard

A virtual keyboard is not physically tangible. The keys are projected by the laser on any surface and can be adapted to this. A sensor detects the position of the fingers. The operating principle is based on the properties of light. As it requires a certain time to spread out, the distance of objects can be calculated. Based on these calculations, a 3-dimensional image of the environment is created. The evaluation of the image is realized by appropriate software.

A recently discovered patent application by Microsoft is now the dual screen tablet PC is another method to implement a virtual keyboard. This method would not work on a laser ( with sensor ), but the touch panel to use the keyboard from the hand to generate.
