Projection
Projection ( proicere Latin, throw out, throw ') stands for:
- Projection (mathematics), an idempotent linear mapping
- Central projection, the image of a three-dimensional object on a two dimensional surface
- Card network design, map projection, the image of the curved surface of a celestial body on a flat map
- Projection (optics), the image of an object or its image on an image plane by a lens or lens system
