Promontorium Laplace

The promontory or cape Laplace Laplace is one of the two capes at the ends of the Montes Jura on the edge of Sinus Iridium on the moon. Cape Laplace is located north of Sinus Iridium, compared to the second promontory Cape Heraclides (Cape Heraclides ). It is named after the French astronomer Pierre -Simon Laplace.
