Proper Filthy Naughty (also known by the abbreviation PFN and the former name Salamander and The Light ) is an English music project in the field of electronic dance music from London. The group consists of the two producers John Ross and Joe Williams. Their music style is not uniform: although they were known for the electroclash song Fascination, other publications, however, are stylistically attributed to the house and breakbeat.

Career

John Ross makes claims to music since 1991 and was influenced mainly by hip-hop. He made himself particularly as a remixer of some tracks from sizes of the electronic music scene like Paul Oakenfold, as well as pop stars like Britney Spears a name.

The project itself was founded in 1994 under the name Salamander, from 1996, called the duo The Light. Her first big club hit was Expand the Room in 1997, which can be assigned to the style Progressive Breaks. 2000, named the band around in the current name and experimented with alternative sounds.
