Proton Malaysian Open

The ATP tournament in Kuala Lumpur (official Malaysian Open, before Proton Malaysian Open, 1993-1995: Kuala Lumpur Open) is a Malaysian men's tennis tournament. The competition was first organized in 1993 as a replacement of the Tournament of Singapore first on hard court and later on carpet and discontinued after four sweeps in 1995. Since 2009, the event will be re-aligned and discharged in the Bukit Jalil Sports Complex in Kuala Lumpur. The game is played with a 28- field in singles and 16- field double on hard court in the hall. The tournament is part of the ATP World Tour 250

Record winner of the tournament is Jacco Eltingh, who won the competition in a double with his partner Paul Haarhuis three times, and once the individual competition was won by.
