Proton satellite

As a proton (Russian Протон ) a series of four Soviet research satellite was called, which should investigate the high-energy cosmic particle radiation. They were remarkable for their size and mass of 8.5 tonnes ( 16 tons at Proton 4). The first time the launcher UR -500 was used to start, which was later named after the satellite as Proton rocket.
