Proton Tiara

The Proton Tiara was a 1996 to 2000 car model produced by the Malaysian manufacturer Proton. He was the same design available with the Citroën AX, but only as a five-door hatchback. Externally, it corresponds to the bumpers the AX GT. The tiara was an attempt by the -down in a helicopter crash killed 1997 Proton chairman Tan Sri Yahaya Ahmad, to gain more autonomy beyond the control of Mitsubishi and take advantage of the then modern diesel engine technology of PSA. The tiara was not exported.
