Proveis

Proveis (Italian: Proves ) is an Italian municipality with 265 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in South Tyrol at Deutschnonsberg west of Bolzano at 1420 meters above sea level.

History

Proveis is mentioned as Provesso 1271 and 1524 Proveis. Until 1998, was opened as a tunnel under the Hofmahdjoch in the Val d'Ultimo, Proveis was only accessible through the Trentino territory.
