Province of Palencia

The Palencia is a Spanish province of Castile and León Autonomous Region. The capital is Palencia. To the north it borders the Autonomous Region of Cantabria, on the east by the province of Burgos, in the south of Valladolid and León to the west.

The Palencia province has 168,955 inhabitants (2013 ), of which about half live in the capital, Palencia.
