Proyecto Uno

Proyecto Uno (Spanish Project 1 ) is a band of Merengue Hip Hop. It was founded in the early 1990s in New York. Its members are Nelson Zapata, Magic Juan, Johnny Salgado and Erik Boog.

Their most famous hits were Latinos, El tiburón ( The shark ), Mueve la cadera ( Move your hips), Monotonia ( The monotonous city) and Fiebre ( Fever ).

Their album Pura Gozadera from 2002 ( even without Magic Juan ) was album of the year in South America. There can be found with the track Holla! The remix a track from the genre of reggaeton.
