Przebędowo Słupskie

Przebędowo Słupskie ( German Prebendow ) is a place in Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Główczyce ( Glowitz ) in the powiat Słupski.

Geographical location

The small village is located in Pomerania. about 15 kilometers south of Lake Leba ( Łebsko ). Neighboring villages are Główczyce ( Glowitz ) to the west, Pobłocie ( Poblotz ) in the northeast and Stowięcino ( Stojentin ) in the south.

History

The village Prebendow, formerly called Prebentow belonged before 1945 to the district of Stolp in the Prussian province of Pomerania and should not be confused with the same name, to the east, about six miles west of the Lantow Lake village Prebendow, which belonged to the district of Lauenburg, and the there is a train station today owes its name.

The village was formerly a Gutsbezirk. Around 1784, there were Prebendow two outworks, four Kossäten, a schoolmaster and a total of 18 fireplaces ( dispensations ).

The region was occupied in March 1945 by the Red Army and made after the end of World War II under Polish administration. The residential buildings were subsequently taken over by Poland.

The place has about 60 inhabitants.

Parish

The villagers before 1945 were Protestant. Prebendow was the parish in Stojentin ( Stowięcino ).
