The most striking feature of the psalm is its parallelism to 2 Sam 22 EU. Therefore the textual criticism has mostly with the question of how the two texts differ from each other. According to the Old Testament scholar W.O.E. Oesterly example, two texts lay before the same original and the differences have the tradition of guilt.
