Psi Ursae Majoris

Psi Ursae Majoris ( UMa ψ / ψ Ursae Majoris ) is a star in the constellation Ursa Major.

The Chinese called him "Ta Tsun ", which translates to " the wine barrel " means. Wasat, a star in the constellation Gemini, also bore this name.

The orange giant star belongs to the spectral class K1III and has an apparent magnitude of 3.0 mag. It is about 145Lichtjahre removed from the earth.
