PSM-Nationalist Agreement

PSM Entesa Nacionalista, short PSM - EN, is an alliance of leftist regional parties in the Balearic Islands.

Member parties of the alliance are now in Mallorca the PSM Entesa Nacionalista de Mallorca and the two city parties Unio Independents d' Arta and Independents de Puigpunyent i Galilea, Menorca Partit Socialista de Menorca - Entesa Nacionalista and Ibiza the Entesa Nacionalista i Ecologista - Esquerra Nacionalista d' Eivissa.

The Partit Socialista de Mallorca and the Partit Socialista de Menorca were founded in 1977 during the transición. In Ibiza, was founded in 1989, the Entesa Nacionalista i Ecologista d' Eivissa. In the same year, these three parties merged to Federació de l' Esquerra Nacionalista de les Illes Balears ( FENIB ), which was eventually renamed PSM Entesa Nacionalista 1998. In 2000, the Unio d' Independents d' Arta and 2003, the Independents de Puigpunyent i Galilea the PSM - EN joined.

The member parties of the PSM - EN have lined up since the end of Franco's dictatorship in all elections to the Cortes Generales and to the regional parliament of the Balearic Islands, partly in electoral alliances with other parties, mainly the left, pankatalanischen and green spectrum. The candidacy for elections to the House of Representatives were always restricted to the Balearic Islands constituency, parliamentary representation, however, could never be achieved in this election. In the regional parliament, the member parties of the PSM - EN, however, are represented from the beginning without interruption.

Constituency Menorca: Entesa de l' Esquerra de Menorca ( common list of Partit Socialista de Menorca and the total Spanish Left Party IU ) 14.7 % of the votes and two deputies (out of 13); Both MPs are members of the PSM. Both nominations in total so 6.2% and four deputies in the regional parliament ( out of 59 ).

Constituency Menorca: Entesa de l' Esquerra de Menorca ( common list of Partit Socialista de Menorca and the total Spanish Left Party IU ) 14.0 % of the votes and two deputies (out of 13); Both MPs are members of the PSM. Constituency Ibiza: Entesa Nacionalista i Ecologista d' Eivissa with 4.7 % of the vote; no deputy. Three nominations in total so 8.4% and five deputies in the regional parliament ( out of 59 ).

Constituency Menorca: Partit Socialista de Menorca, with 11.8 % of the vote and a deputy (of 13 ). Constituency Ibiza: Entesa Nacionalista i Ecologista d' Eivissa with 1.8 % of the vote; no deputy. Three nominations in total thus 12.2% and six deputies in the regional parliament ( out of 59 ).

Constituency Menorca: PSM - EN with 9.8% of the vote and a deputy (of 13 ). Constituency Ibiza: Pacte Progresista ( common list of PSOE, IU, Els Verds d' Eivissa, ERC and PSM - EN ) with 46.3 % of the vote and six deputies (out of 12), including but none of the PSM - EN. PSM - EN in the two alone total nominations thus 11.7% and five deputies in the regional parliament ( out of 59 ).

Constituency Menorca: PSM - EN 8.1% of the vote and a deputy (of 13 ). Constituency Ibiza: Pacte Progresista ( common list of PSOE, IU, ERC and PSM - EN ) with 37.8 % of the vote and five deputies (out of 12), including but none of the PSM - EN. PSM - EN in the two alone total nominations thus 8.0% and four deputies in the regional parliament ( out of 59 ).

Constituency Menorca: on the common list of PSM - EN and Els Verds de Menorca account for 8.96 % of the vote and a deputy (of 13 ); this belongs to PSM - EN. Constituency Ibiza: on the common list of PSOE, IU, ERC, Els Verds d' Eivissa and PSM - EN accounted 45.82 % of the vote and six MPs (out of 12), including but none of the PSM - EN. In the two cited by PSM - EN lists in Mallorca and Menorca account for a total thus 9.77 %. The selected via these two lists in the regional parliament members form a fraction with five deputies ( out of 59 ); of these five members belong to three of the PSM - EN.

Constituency Menorca: on PSM - EN accounts 9.82% of the vote and a deputy (of 13 ). Constituency Ibiza: on PSM - EN accounts 1.37 % of the vote; no deputy. The three nominations account for a total thus 9.64 %. The elected representatives on these lists form in the regional parliament, a fraction with five deputies ( out of 59 ); of these five members belong to four of the PSM - EN.

The regional government of the Balearic Islands ( Govern Balear ) belonged to the PSM - EN 1999-2003 ( in a coalition led by the PSOE together with Majorcan Union and IU ) and 2007-2011 ( in a coalition led by the PSOE together with the other parties by the Bloc to Mallorca and Majorcan Union ).
